This is a blog about living ethically in the kitchen and garden.

After reading food blogs for years, I started to reflect that few blogs engaged actively with the politics of consumption. I aim to do that here, while also sharing recipes, ideas and inspiration from the kitchen and garden. The title is inspired by Aldo Leopold's land ethic, in A Sand County Almanac
